🚌 Buses can be taken from Kota Kinabalu, Semporna, Lahad Datu and Tawau to Sandakan.

🚤 Selingan Turtle Island is accessible by boat from the Sabah Parks jetty in Sandakan. The journey takes between 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes.

Selingan Turtle Island has long been a haven for endangered green and hawksbill turtles. In August 1966, the first turtle hatchery in Malaysia was established on the island, now standing as one of the oldest turtle hatcheries in the world.
