How To Get Here

Nestled along the banks of Kinabatangan River, Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort is well located in Sukau, a pristine region in Borneo known for its diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.

The resort is approximately 2 hours away from Lahad Datu, accessible by land from cities such as Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, or Tawau.

🚌 Buses can be taken from Kota Kinabalu, Semporna, Sandakan and Tawau to Lahad Datu.

✈️ Daily flights from Kota Kinabalu to Lahad Datu are available via the regional airline MASWings.

🚗 The 125 km journey from Lahad Datu town to Sukau takes about 2 hours, with the first 88 km along the Segama highway to Kinabatangan town, turning off at the Sukau Junction for another 45-minute journey to Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort via Jalan Sukau.

Background / History

Born out of passion for the astounding Kinabatangan River and surrounding rainforest, Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort was envisioned as a unique and authentic travel experience with low environmental impact. In efforts to minimise disruption to the ecosystem, the resort was built on stilts raised 4 feet above ground, allowing the natural flow of water and wildlife movement to continue beneath them.
